Admin at UC have claimed various reasons why they aren’t fighting in court, but they simply are afraid to take on the Feds, believing antagonism will somehow make a terrible situation worse. Thing is, it can’t be much worse, and you can’t placate a bully.

Admin at UC have claimed various reasons why they aren’t fighting in court, but they simply are afraid to take on the Feds, believing antagonism will somehow make a terrible situation worse. Thing is, it can’t be much worse, and you can’t placate a bully.

People saying it doesn’t matter that a reservoir in the Palisades was empty because this fire was uncontrollable - to me it sounds like saying that patient was dying whether the crash cart was stocked or not. Personnel and systems are imperfect, you gotta improve anyway.
