Snap isn't a giant amount of money. When I was Unemployed for a year, we got it for six months. It was JUST ENOUGH if we stretched it tight, to feed six people two meals a day. No steaks, no lobster, literally Pantry Staples. And I had to jump through a LOT of hoops to even get considered.

Except all the other renovations were done through the proper channels. Trump completely bypassed EVERYTHING and just did what he wanted rather than wait for approvals.
