This mess is unfortunately the result of Clinton's telecommunications act and the increase in media consolidation. It was SUPPOSED to foment competition (ha!), but instead opened the floodgates to mergers and buyouts on a massive scale.

It's still media consolidation no matter who's doing it, and it's really a case of the lesser of evils.

I figured this was going to happen when he got vague and (for lack of a better word) evasive the other day on @ms.now (I'm pretty sure it was w/ @nicollewallace.bsky.social ). Can't hate on @ericswalwell.bsky.social for that. @jimmykimmel.com DOES have a larger audience.
