Just some average nerdy/gamer person (All pronouns He/She/They) Part of me is a Bunny Ear wearing Paladin (Don't ask) Banner by Fiveonthe art <3 @shaymikyu.bsky.social
Like it used to be "great work, we killed the leader of this enemy organisation, destroyed their supply lines and WON THE WAR!!". Nice fun resolution. But now without fail theres just...
"Oh but the enemy somehow still owns this entire country and got a new leader out of nowhere, GO GRIND PLEASE"

If we're following usual trends (and based on rumours) we should be getting a Modern Warfare next year. Hopefully that goes back to a more fun standard campaign. I don't ask much from ya COD. Just fun singleplayer missions with some over the top set pieces and the occasional spark of inspiration :P

"But the concurren.." no.. we don't care. We're allowed to enjoy a game, finish it then move on. Thats how it used to be. You pay for the experience, finish it then moved on. No live services, no battle passes, no "retention". I don't hate the game because I finished it, then played something else.

With that price let us keep the games rather than just piling the service with bloatware like 2% of people will use and calling it a deal. Thats what angered me about it more than anything to be honest
