I think Rian Johnson is an amazing director, but the Last Jedi was like watching an amazing athlete nearly defy physics leaping over other members of both teams, doing backflips, effortlessly and impressively sailing through the air and around all the other players to score a goal for the wrong team

I shouted him out by name in my first Star Wars viddy essay, and then I found out he’s an ardent J.K. Rowling defender. While I think his videos are strong in isolation, I’ve distanced myself from recommending him since then, as I care more about the dignity of trans people than I do about Star Wars
