Still another collection of flowers.
Several clusters of pinkish-purple flowers with narrow tubes opening into six petals. They remind me of fireworks. Pink geraniums with five petals each. Each petal is white on the outside, getting darker and darker pink moving inwards, with a sudden jump to pale pink again in the centre. Delicate ruffled pink pea flowers. Among grey-green leaves, several bright yellow flowers that look a bit like pom poms.

River Frome, Capel’s Mill, Stroud.
The river Frome flows past the ruins of an old mill and into the distance, between wooded banks. Long photographic exposure has made the surface of the river water appear smooth.
