While he namechecks "Everything Everywhere All at Once" he misses the strongest "multiversal" fictional reference here which would be Alex Garlands "Devs", in which AI is trained on literal all data in cosmos and devs battle over two algorithms generating a deterministic universe or a multiverse.

You can imagine the effect of "consensus-building conversation" on social media and the effect of echo chambers on this alignment of "future brain activity within groups". Social Media is a literal brain activity alignment machine.
