It's an interesting phenomenon how so many authoritarians, almost all of them, in fact, just HAVE to have their people build giant monuments to their greatness. Hell, it's almost a running gag: "If someone's building something grandiose, they're either a bad monarch or a dictator."

PS to add that the insanely rich should also be held at least as accountable, PROPORTIONALLY to their wealth, as the average person for their wrongdoings, not given slap-on-the-wrist punishments.
