Me: This is a pretty crappy storyline to this dystopian story. They keep flip flopping topics, bringing friends and bootlickers into the main storyline, making really obviously insane decisions, it's quite predictable and not entertaining at all.

Also me: I really need to stop reading the news.

I am quite concerned we are losing the critical mass of critical thinkers.

This isn't a crack in society's foundation, but a crevasse.

I approached a roundabout today where there was already a vehicle in the roundabout. They stopped right before my entrance to the roundabout, then proceeded to BACK up to the prior exit and exited the roundabout.

Um, It's ROUND, go around again to your correct exit.

Humanity is screwed.

NGL, deleting FB from my phone has been wonderful. The vileness and hatred along with FB’s algorithm pushing propaganda was so depressing and frustrating.

Identifying root causes is key to fixing our housing issues. This is key root cause! Kudos for Esther Graff-Radford for tackling this head on.
Esther Graff-Radford, who represents tenants across Georgia: “If they wanted a house with a yard in the right school district, they were forced to rent from one of these big out-of-state rental companies. As landlords, these companies prioritize profit over my clients' safety.”

I had to sign a tax form for an extremely patriarchal country for work. It asked "whom I was the daughter of_____". So I put my mom's name. Let's see how long it takes to be rejected.

I unboxed a punchbowl given to me from my Grandma for Easter dinner. As expected, it was wrapped in newspaper pages from the @miamiherald.com from December 1970. The Kent State shooting hearings. Smoker insurance premiums and #howarduniversity receiving it's radio station from @washingtonpost.com

I need to provide a first born in order to Teams chat with someone outside my org, but the White House can include gen pop in group chats.

Clearly I need to have a chat with IT

A heartfelt thank you for seeing us.
63 studies: women who assert their ideas, make direct requests, and advocate for themselves are liked less.

They're also less likely to get hired—and it hasn't improved over time.

When will we stop punishing women for violating outdated gender stereotypes?

Just to make this distinction, what we’re seeing being applied to our government’s “restructure“ isn’t private equity behavior, it’s 80’s, Carl Icahn type corporate raiding.

Breaking: The Flintstones theme song will be deleted because we cannot have a yabba-dabba-doo time, nor a dabba-doo time, and absolutely no one is allowed to have a gay old time.

A pivotal moment for Europe is here.

We are ready to mobilise up to €800 billion to help EU countries increase defence spending.

We'll present our proposals to all EU leaders at today's European Council meeting.

Hey Dems, the Republicans are not playing by the rules, and arguably don’t care about the rules. We need you to at least push the boundaries of the rules! You have smart people! Find the lone extrovert and make them your front person! Something!

My 70+ mom and her girlies used COBOL at Eastern Airlines, made some of the industry's first reservation systems, loyalty and load and balance systems. These kids have no business being in these systems they don't understand.
