I do not have any sympathy for "I left a bowl of candy outside unattended and one kid took it all" stories. Even if Halloween wasn't a holiday about mischief, this happens to almost everyone who does this. Why are you surprised?

Coworker is upset that they dropped the requirement to have a fine arts degree for our positions. I'm like, good, who cares, but she is clinging to her 30 year old graphic design degree like she isn't shit at her job anyway

Like. Every time I tell someone what my day job is they're impressed. But I cannot shake the feeling that my time would be better spent doing something else. But I spent nearly 10 years pretending I was a full time artist, but I was really just an anxious dependant

Taking a college class asynchronously has a lot of downsides, but the ability to increase the video's speed sure is nice. 1.25 speed makes him sound like a normal person

Uh oh! The laser cutter at my day job has been releasing fumes into the silicone room for over a year. One of my coworkers complained when it started, but nothing happened. She was ✨pregnant!✨

I know all I do on this account is complain about my day job but I'm seriously at my limit there. They are bringing back one of the people they fired because, OOPS! Outsourcing his job is actually super expensive!

Cool, cool, cool, they fired the most competent person in Product Design and Development today, someone who has been with the company since it began, cooool. I guess if you tell the CEO "no that's impossible" too many times you disappear.
