I've been playing Xenogears (1998), and it's definitely a good game from the JRPG golden era. you can tell it's a spiritual predecessor to the Xenoblade Chronicles games, both in narrative as well as some of the gameplay mechanics. plus it has mecha, you can never go wrong with mecha!

I've been playing Xenogears (1998), and it's definitely a good game from the JRPG golden era. you can tell it's a spiritual predecessor to the Xenoblade Chronicles games, both in narrative as well as some of the gameplay mechanics. plus it has mecha, you can never go wrong with mecha!

In a few years it’ll be Ukrainians who were betrayed by the US and decide they have nothing to lose.
The US treats its own soldiers terribly that there is such a concept as homeless vets. It treats its allies, or recruited allies, even worse that I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often.

If I'm understanding this correctly, the man who shot two national guards in DC was a former Afghan child soldier who fought alongside US special forces and in a CIA-supervised unit and later was granted asylum. The word "blowback" comes to mind.

we have a gas fireplace that gets turned on sometimes when it's really cold out, and despite filling the house with the smell of gas it does not help me post any better which is a real shame

I have a disproportionate and concerning amount of stuffing leftover, and I've no idea how I'm going to use it all. obvi some will go to a sammy for lunch today, maybe I can make some fritters later...it's starch and meat, it shouldn't be this hard to figure out but for some reason I'm struggling

I'm min-maxing my thanksgiving experience, here's the meta:
- went on a good bike ride yesterday to help build a calorie deficit
- didn't take my adderall this morning, so appetite won't have a debuff
- will do a little four twenty later in the afternoon to optimize hunger uptime
