Too many companies are still treating training management as admin work when it could be a competitive edge.

If you’re producing content or events around learning operations, automation in L&D, or EdTech innovation, I’d love to be part of the conversation. Connect with me!

Can you ensure quality in AI-enabled learning content?

I'm looking to contribute to publications or platforms that are exploring the real implications of AI in learning:
→ How it changes instructional design
→ Where human expertise still matters most
→ And how governance models must evolve

📣 Looking to contribute! I’m seeking opportunities to write or speak for publications/podcasts that focus on the future of learning, edtech in an AI-enabled world, and strategic L&D innovation in corporate spaces.

The bigger the idea, the clearer the story must be. I’ve learned that the most important skill in innovation leadership is narrative building. What is your "story" that brings the power of the why into play?

In our rush to deliver and prove value, we sometimes forget that incubation is part of innovation. Some ideas need time to bake. What’s something you’re glad you didn’t rush to market? #PowerofthePause #Innovation

Disruption isn’t chaos. It’s strategy. We’re not interested in disruption for its own sake. We disrupt because the path we’re on no longer serves the future we want to build.

What path in your industry needs to be disrupted with purpose?

AI isn’t replacing your job. It’s rewriting the job description. In L&D, AI will replace repetitive tasks and we have to see that as freedom. The future is in what you do once the BS is gone.

So here is my challenge: What would you create if AI took care of the busywork?

At some point, innovation shifts from spark to system. Moving from raw ideas into a repeatable product development lifecycle is hard, necessary, and transformative work.

What systems helped you move from reactive to proactive in innovation?

Innovation is sometimes about choosing what not to build. (those are tough conversations!). The temptation to chase shiny objects is strong but true innovation requires focus.

What’s something you said no to recently that created more space for what matters?

Are we solving for knowledge, performance, or impact?
And how do we measure success in a world where skills become obsolete faster than ever?

What’s the role of L&D in a world of constant change?
Are we keeping up—or redefining what learning means entirely?

Will learners own their journeys—or will organizations still define the path?
What role should self-direction play, especially in corporate and professional environments?
June 10, 2025 at 4:18 PM
What does the future of learning look like to you?
Is it faster? More personalized? Driven by AI or grounded in human connection?

We can get distracted by learning objectives and forget that, in the corporate world, we learn for the purpose of growth and performance.

Just a shout out for an amazing resource - Luma Institute's Luma Workplace is a great resource for anyone running design thinking workshops. They are owned by Mural, which is also an excellent tool on its own as well. Go check them out. Not sponsored - just my honest opinion sharing good resources!

Effort does not get results... but trial and error can lead to amazing inventions, trying can lead to identifying gaps, work ethic can make up for a lack of knowledge... How can you safely foster a culture of risk-taking?

a new favorite term - drip learning! Let's wake up and get a cup of learning today!

Just a reminder - not saying no does not mean don't have boundaries or stay safe. It means taking a second to decide "What if I said yes to this idea?".

How are you pushing the envelope on your own growth as a leader? Are you collaborating with new people? Reading new books? Being influenced by new tech?

What is your secure base? If you don't know, please go find it! It is worth the work to define it.

This may be a little controversial in today's climate... but when was the last time you intentionally went and looked for an opposing view? Leadership requires you to be open to new perspectives.
