It has come to my attention that not everyone had paper advent calendars growing up (or was even aware they existed) so for St Nicolas' Day here is today's window in the advent calendar I got my sister this year with the man himself doing some distribution

Sometimes a cat is such a menace at 5am that a person has to shut her out of the bedroom in order to get just a tiny morsel of sleep and then when the person comes down for breakfast at 7:45 the cat is MIFFED

Goldilocks was the best little old lady cat. I loved her with my whole entire heart. She was very very soft and beautiful and polite. She never sat on my lap but when I lay down she'd lie on top of me. She woke me in the morning by gently patting me in the face. She died nearly 2 years ago, aged 14

(I don't know why bsky is so bad about image rotation) I think the badges are different colours depending on the number of donations they commemorate? So you could theoretically pin them all in a row like medals

Got a surprise present in the post from the Blood Service ♥️ I didn't know they still did the badges and I certainly didn't expect a certificate but it's rather sweet!
