iirc he and sadie frost met while filming shopping. not exactly the best movie ever made, but it did get jude law a fair bit of attention and kicked off his career. like he wouldn't have played in gattaca if he hadn't first played in shopping.

i live next door to roosters and they actually scream 24/7, which is also perfectly understandable. (my neighbours have more than one rooster, i think they scream in shifts because it's a bit much for just one rooster to keep going 24/7)

OpenAI themselves know it's mathematically impossible to stop hallucinations from their own research with the technology and modeling approach in use, so that's definitely out: www.computerworld.com/article/4059...
OpenAI admits AI hallucinations are mathematically inevitable, not just engineering flaws
In a landmark study, OpenAI researchers reveal that large language models will always produce plausible but false outputs, even with perfect data, due to fundamental statistical and computational limi...

jeg har en sånn (annet merke). det burde ikke være så komplisert å få til, det er jo veldig enkle seler. men jeg har ikke egentlig brukt den funksjonen så mye, funker ikke så bra i kombinasjon med ryggsekk.

i'll keep repeating this for as long as i have to: bouvet island. on behalf of my country, which has in no way at all given me the power to offer you bouvet island, i offer you bouvet island for this purpose. it's not much use for anything else anyway.

det jeg liker best er de kategoriene der de ikke har noen produkter i det hele tatt, men likevel påstår nederst på siden at de tilbyr et bredt utvalg av denne produktkategorien.

i think it's fairly safe to assume louis has been filling his own presentations with ai slop and now he's feeling defensive about it.

(i'm not even a big radiohead fan, though i was 30 years ago, obviously. but i haven't bought a radiohead album since the bends.)

it makes me question their taste and judgment and i wonder if they also used AI to generate other parts of the presentation.

don't they notice how generic and soulless those illustrations are? i was exposed to a full day of this earlier this year, and everything looked the same, i just shut down.

i have been chased by a badger although everybody says it's impossible because their vision is too poor for that. but that badger changed course to follow me when i ran, i refuse to believe it was just coincidence. i've also been chased by moose. for unclear reasons wild animals just hate me.

someone should have yelled about that at my coworker in his formative years and saved me a lot of frustration.
November 28, 2025 at 5:21 PM
it's also turned out my coworker who let the bot do his job has no idea what a primary source is, and just thinks it's the source he used most, eg a bot translation of a secondary or even tertiary source. so he's basically the human version of a bot regurgitating a reddit post about glue pizza.
