And they would be correct. Robo drivers and EV’s are held to a much higher standard than ICE or human drivers will ever be able to achieve. If we removed all human drivers, the road carnage would drop precipitously.

They are very protective of their oil patch and a while back a prime minister tried and failed to nationalise the oil industry. They have never forgiven the eastern elites for that attempt and when that prime ministers son (Justin Trudeau) became leader, the old wounds opened up again.

We have had similar rumblings from our other troubled child, the province of Quebec but Quebec is uniquely different due to their culture and language. Alberta on the other hand is a relatively young province and aside from the indigenous peoples, consists of very white transplants.

The 500W Longi Lr8 panels I’m installing are 22.8% efficient but they aren’t tandem. Longi solar actually holds the record for tandem cells that are 34.8% efficient.

My coworkers wife worked for Baffin. He always brought several pair to our gold tournament to raffle off for charity. They were always a big hit. But I’m not sure if they are 100% made in Canada these days. She made many business trips to China over the years.
