I fed my toothless cat chunks of turkey under duress, she threatened to stab me if I didn't share. The rest were fine, except one of the orange ones who tried really hard to help plate the charcuterie board. No number of removals dimmed the enthusiasm.

Youngest nephew fell off the couch directly onto his face, 6 year old twins got marshmallow EVERYWHERE, one piece of pie dropped onto the cloth chair. Got through the whole dinner without my best friend's dad talking about politics. Temperature is dropping down to the 60s. All in all, great day!

I'm grateful for the Thanksgiving tradition my best friend and I have built over the years. Grateful I can afford to go grocery shopping. Grateful for a home to cook in. Grateful for the dogs waking me up every morning and the cats screaming for breakfast at 5.30am lol. Grateful to have my kids.

I do Thanksgiving with my best friend every year. I am responsible for the (alegedly) famous mashed potatoes, stuffing, Mac n cheese and possible some desserts.

We go over to my best friend's house for Thanksgiving. She also calls me every year and I give her emotional support while she's cooking the turkey lol.

Losing a pet is so hard, but take comfort knowing Steve Irwin and Jane Goodall were waiting on the other side of that rainbow bridge to welcome them with open arms.

One of the Steak and shakes down here in florida took out an ad promoting charlie kirk so... plus the last time I ate at one, I got extremely ill.

That's such a strange thing to say. Why would giving your dog treats they normally couldn't have on their last day be a confusing concept?
