Believe it or not, I managed to fill this page without AI by using something called "reference images." Really made me appreciate the mastery Studio Ghibli has over anatomy and shadows. I bet if I keep this up, I'll be able to make my own Ghibli-inspired at without ever needing to prompt anything!

Reformatting my flyer in anticipation of my next anthology coming out later this year. Finding opportunities to hand them out is a little nerve-wracking, but I'm fortunate to have a local trans community that makes this kind of hands-on advertising possible.

This IGN article's title is a little deceptive. If I didn't already know the story, I would have thought that STREAMERS cancelled their sponsored streams of the game; the company contacted streamers last minute and cancelled the sponsorship. It was not done TO the devs but something THEY did.

I dunno, Kobo, everyone else also said they wouldn't train AI models on copyrighted material and turned out to be lying.

I think the thing that *really* gets to me about Hazbin Hotel is that nothing at all I've seen from it has the emotional weight or impact as this scene from Medrano's previous project. This moment of Zechariah comforting Cameron has stayed with me for years. Hazbin's writing feels like regression.

I spent a good day working on this one. I didn't want there to be such an obvious seam between the body and the spout of the kettle, but anything to fuse the two and do the sculpting I want distorts the mesh beyond my current ability to reign back in for baking normals.

I made a hammer in Blender today. Textures are imported but the mesh is all me. Had fun experimenting with the mirror modifier as a way to work more efficiently. Honestly it ended up taking less time than I anticipated.

I still recommend @ela-bambust.bsky.social, but also @gelidspace.bsky.social is a very good artist you should consider. Either way, you would be supporting an amazing trans artist who deserves more attention.
