The same thing happens to me. Our library does allow you to delay a hold for one, two, or three weeks.

Out for brunch and my husband pulled into a parking space. I asked him why he parked next to the dumpster. Turned out it was a cybertruck. I made him move the car to another spot.

There is an Armenian restaurant in Cincinnati named Mirage that does a marinated salmon that I still dream about. All their food was delicious.

I think the Canadians have it correct by having Thanksgiving in October. I don't enjoy having two major holidays less than a month apart.

Look for Mueller's Hidden Veggie Pasta when it goes on sale. It's a full serving of veggies but doesn't have the weird taste or texture of others I've tried. Rice goes a long way. Red beans and rice will feed you for a week. Bean dishes are filling and easy.

We are having duck this year for Thanksgiving. We cook what we feel like cooking each year even when we have guests. One year I made Indonesian Lamb Curry for Thanksgiving. People loved it.

I'm proud of you. I understand because I'm in a similar space. I'm adding more places I can get to slowly but I'm making progress. I still can't drive on the highway.
