Yes, they're not identical, ML and other fields are included in the broader field of AI, that's what "X is a subset of Y" means.

I feel like we should agree on common definitions of artificial intelligence and machine learning. That being said, here's the beginning of the Wikipedia article on machine learning, which clearly states that it's a subfield of AI (and many other dictionaries/scientific publications say the same).

Machine learning is AI though, just not LLMs.
