Remembering what we loved, losing it, and then taking it back slowly to love it again when Life took it away is so meaningful. Re-finding the creativity that fed our soul and made us feel alive IS healing. We don’t need to be obsessed with being “healed,” it’s enough to just feel like yourself again

A lot of people on dating websites (I swear this is relevant, stay with me) want someone who is “healed.” And while I think middle-aged, single people who are fully healed exist, there’s a lot more people who are in the *middle* of that process, and that’s good and okay.
