Plutocrats used to build public works as part of an implicit understanding that there is a thin fucking line between your bullshit and a public execution. The dismantling of those works is acknowledgement that the compromise is null and void. Now they live in terror, divorced from the world.

Looking forward to learning all about how the right should move left to win elections tomorrow. They should maybe dye their hair pink, learn to love pronouns.

With SNAP/EBT cuts looming I highly recommend downloading this app! Basically restaurants and other food businesses will have available bags of random food they don’t wanna waste for ppl to buy for hella cheap! This has saved me sooooo many times when I only have $5 and need some food.

Parrying is OUT. Dodging is OUT. Tanking is the It Thing. I want a game about building a brick shithouse that parks their armored ass in front of whatever needs humbling and blocks attacks with their gormless face. I don't want to roll around giggling like a sassy gay imp, I want to belly bump god.

Undisputed champ of the No Kings protests was the lady across from me standing up, totally unassisted, and waving a sign that said "I'M 100 AND MY HUSBAND DID NOT FIGHT IN WW2 FOR THIS." Fuckin' fighting facsicm at the century mark. Incredible.

Remember folks. The original bluesky ethos by us bluesky elders (apparently I count?) is block and move on.

Don't quote dunk, don't pick fights.
Block, and move on.

This is what made this site unpalatable to the right early on, and we can continue to make it unpalatable to them.

Overall, this set is fun to put together so far. Not quite sure yet what I think of using negative space for the select and start buttons. It's an interesting decision, but it might be more fun to have something there to press.

@lawoftd.bsky.social Jordan says it's great, and that's good enough for me.
I have my nitpicks (detailed in this thread) with Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, but I can’t deny the newly added voice acting gives an entire new layer of depth to what is probably the best video game story ever told.

An excellent way to experience an essential work of fiction.
Minor characters now truly become the iconic figures of a fittingly sweeping tale. Milleuda, a character I’d always glanced over in previous playthroughs, has become one of my favorites.

I would also push Argath off the nearest ledge at any given opportunity.

The 2007 script now feels definitive.
