A male rock ptarmigan (Lagopus muta) in winter plumage.
Ptarmigan is from Gaelic 'tarmachan' meaning "croaker". The p- was added when people mistakenly assumed it was a Greek word.

We're at the time of year when FOC for an issue is actually before the issue that's coming out. So while DIE 2 is out on the 27th, FOC for DIE 3 is on Monday (8th). Speak to your retailer, and they really will appreciate it a whole bunch.

I've had a sick couple of days. That's sick as in, physically unwell. I spent most of yesterday resting and sleeping, and then was basically awake all night. It did give me a chance to reread the Judge Dredd Case Files covering Necropolis. That was good.
