It irks me a bit that the cover of this book has ruby slippers when they're silver slippers in the book... the movie changed them to ruby slippers so they'd look better in technicolor.

We knew it was coming but you can never prepare for something like this :( JJ, Nat's dog who she has had since she was 13, had to be put to sleep today at around 3 PM. He had advanced lymphoma and it was the kindest thing to do. He was a big part of both our lives and we will miss him forever.
