I remember having to deal with this crap back in the early days of Game of Thrones. It's really not asking anything to preface comments with *spoiler* but apparently for some guys (and yes it's nearly always guys doing this) that's the biggest inconvenience in the world.
Ugh. I had to binge all of stranger things s5 because people were RELENTLESSLY spoiling stuff online (though it turns out I'd basically seen all the spoilers 😑). I thought we learned from Marvel & Star Wars? it hasn't even been out for a week...I waited years for s5, but yeah...
