Big Risk: Will Parliament expedite the Gene Tech Bill into legislation?
The Health Select Committee have failed to reject or amend MBIE's Gene Technology Bill to reflect public concerns and have now recommended that the Bill progress to law.

NZ EPA only looked at chlorpyrifos - chlorpyrifos-methyl ignored. They could have elected to look at both as a risk class (like they often do when weakening and extending restrictions for other substance classes) but chose not to. It was a political choice. psgr.org.nz/reports-pape...
