Honestly, it's even crazier with context. To fully explain it would mean first having to explain Billy Gunn's (Daddy Ass) backstory going back to the "Mr. Ass" gimmick he had during the Attitude Era in WWE, the idea of a man who's gimmick was entirely based on his love of asses including his own, and the theme song! Then you would have to mention his sons wrestle. Not a huge backstory, but still relevant. Then you kind of have to explain Danhausen, the man who dubbed Billy and his sons as Daddy Ass and the Ass Boys. You could potentially go off on quite the tangent there. Then you have to explain who The Acclaimed are and why they use "Scissor Me!" as a catchphrase/taunt, and how that leads into "Scissor me, Daddy Ass!" that gets incredibly over with the crowds. There's SO much to unpack. Wrestling is beautiful. But in short, Swerve Strickland kidnapped Daddy Ass for costing him and his tag partner the tag titles. Swerve said he was going to make sure it wouldn't happen again, and took a pair of pliers seemingly cut Daddy Ass's fingers.
