Disneyland AP/MKey/DVC, student of all things Disney
Yeah, I don't think AI is the problem in this case. The image on the laptop is for a slide deck written by a "Dan-Asabe Zonnyari" for another business course. Versions of this deck abound on Google (see photo). This was an old school cheat sheet.

The Hench-Robison mentorship is explicit. But in a broader sense, the market for Disney art grew in the late 80s-1990s. Tony Baxter designed the NOS Disney Gallery in 87. The Disney Store added a Disney Gallery to Main Place in 94. Each Eisner Era movie got an "art of" book by Hyperion.

I think Greg Boyle, SJ, puts it best when he speaks of the Circle of Compassion.

Many of these statues at MONUMENTS @moca-la.bsky.social are immense, hulking. The statue of Generals Lee and Jackson on horseback dwarfs visitors, and is placed in a huge room opposite Hank Willis Thomas' sculpture of a crashed "General Lee" muscle car that looks like a tombstone to white supremacy.

MONUMENTS @moca-la.bsky.social provokes reckoning by placing removed statues with contemporary works that respond to their narrative of the Lost Cause. The pietà trope in the Confederate Women of Maryland is placed opposite Jon Henry's portraits of Black mothers holding their sons in the same pose.

MONUMENTS @moca-la.bsky.social tells the story of the Confederate statues erected by Daughters of the Confederacy, and the protests before and after 2020 that resulted in their removal. Fragments of the Robert E. Lee monument lie next to the bronze ingots & slag left over from its smelting.

MONUMENTS @moca-la.bsky.social features several decommissioned monuments to the Confederate Lost Cause. On their own, they are impressive works in bronze, but ironically, protest paint brings out details lost to decades of weathering, as seen on Baltimore's Confederate Soldiers and Sailors Monument.

Canvas (Instructure) continues to be down due to the #AmazonAWSoutage. User report heatmap by Downdetector shows the issue seems to be mostly in the West Coast and Southwest.

We met him at the signings for Tikiland Day and the release of the parks prints. He's been playing with the look of the mid-century United & TWA travel posters by David Klein & Stanley Galli. The flying ride vehicles & the parrot in the Tiki poster are a reference to the TWA jet.

As we left, staff gave us one pack of 12 Lorcana cards and one of six "books" showing which four cards we needed to collect. There are six books, each with a different set of four cards. Presumably, this should encourage guests who need different cards to trade with each other outside Off The Page.

The cast member we got did a wonderful job storytelling and explaining the core concept of Lorcana. The room's sound and visual effects made for an entertaining show.

I adore the Sorcerer's Workshop, and Lorcana fits very well in this space. I suspect they hope to use this space for future pop-up events, as Lorcana logos and symbols have been inserted into the decor.
