Are women under-represented in publishing in #HealthEconomics? We did an analysis of submissions and acceptances to Value in Health. Results are quite encouraging - but still scope for improvement.

Having lived in the UK for several decades, I am still not adjusted to the topsy-turvy seasons back in NZ. It's Autumn and it's cold - but it's Easter holidays - so we hid the kids' easter eggs in the piles of fallen leaves & thinking about carving a pumpkin...with... a rabbit face?!

The first time I saw this, I thought it was a joke. But nope - Reading to Dogs is an actual thing that happens every Monday night at my lovely little local library here in Wānaka, New Zealand. #libraries #literacy#Libsky
An advertisement for the Reading to Dogs programme at Wanaka Library. I'm sure the dogs like it, but the main point is to help children improve their literacy in a non-judgemental environment. That's probably why it's not Reading to Cats. Cats judge.

What role does equity play in health technology assessment in Asia? New paper in Value in Health reviews current practice in 13 countries.
Conclusion: Equity is considered in HTA, but use of quant methods (like DCEA) still relatively rare.
