Oh, wait, my mistake . . . Jeffries and the Dems have already risen up and launched a powerful response . . . uh . . . oh . . . never mind. They are mumbling the usual mealymouthed "we want a briefing" crap. Truly, extraordinarily pathetic response. the Dems suck so, so bad.

A small break from my usual doom-and-gloom posts & rants about the evil & cruelty of the TrumpMusk fascists . A reminder that there is still brightness & light & color in our world and we need to embrace it to stay sane & strong for the fight (from a visit yesterday to the Filoli historic gardens).

But you gotta love the statement of Commissioner Bedoya, whom Trump is trying to fire: "“The FTC is an independent agency founded 111 years ago to fight fraudsters and monopolists, our staff is unafraid of the Martin Shkrelis’ and Jeff Bezos of the world. "

Here's the list of shame. If any of these are your supporters, call their offices and let them know how bitterly disappointed you are and how you will support primary opponents unless they turn around vote NO on the CR (not that that will help now) and STOP capitulating. They're worthless.

This, this, exactly this. So simple and so important.

I'm sure Trump would have lowered egg prices and reduced inflation and made America wealthy on Day One as promised if he hadn't instead been so busy tanking the stock market and many American's retirement funds. Silly me . . . .

Sign of the times. Small (maybe 150 people so far) and very mellow pro-Palestinian and immigration rally on the Stanford campus has attracted not one but two helicopters circling overhead. Don't be intimidated, folks.

Impressive. Barely six weeks into his term & the guy who promised to end inflation & lower prices on "Day One" is well on his way to destroying our previously solid economy and plunging us into a recession (an outcome he admitted yesterday he couldn't rule out). All you egg-price voters happy now?

So right. And you don't even have to say I was wrong, or I wish I had voted differently. Just "this is now wrong and I can't support it." And then tell your representative, even if they support the administration generally, to stand up against the things that are harmfu, immoral, cruel and wrong.
