I’ve thought about putting GI Joe into my Transformers series thing but I think at most it’d probably be more like GI Joe and Cobra are both long gone, like maybe every once in a while someone finds abandoned Cobra Labs or a ruined battlefield with old Joe and Cobra vehicles or something
I think GI Joe Renegades making Cobra into the Umbrella Corporation, a company covertly trying to take over the world by taking control of basically every aspect of everyday life and making bio weapons and stuff is the smartest and most interesting take for them in the modern era

With the movie in mind, I think it’s very funny that at some point between the 80s and 2005, Cobra Commander managed to change back from being a snake monster and just became a grouchy old man selling guns and robots to people for fun

It’s the funniest shit ever, Prime 3 was supposed to have side missions where you actually Collect Bounties for currency to upgrade your ship and weapons and stuff I think, or maybe just for the sake of side missions, and Nintendo just went “Oh she doesn’t do that”
