Obviously The Tiger, by Nael (age 6); but also large chunks of that Yeats poem about the rough beast slouching towards Bethlehem; bits and pieces of the Hunting of the Snark (Lewis Carroll); and all of Monetisation by Brian Bilston.
Which lines of poetry live rent-free in your head?

Less than a week left to back Mud Ghost Estate Redux on Kickstarter! ✨
MGER is a TTRPG inspired by Hong Kong folklore and urban legends with a tumbling tower mechanic, where you play as teenagers in the 90s exploring a haunted housing estate built in the 60s. 👻

I'll be honest, I do enjoy it when I try to access something like this and they're like 'sorry, you're just too private'.

5 days, £99.

That's 5 physical copies or 9 pdfs.

Been thinking about this on and off all day and I have no idea.

Despite its economic power, design-wise D&D 5e is a speck in one corner of a piece of paper the size of Birmingham. You don't need to pick four games to show that off, you just need to persuade people to look away from That One Game.
If you wanted to run say, four different games that weren't Dungeons & Dragons in hopes of showing people the breadth of the TTRPG hobby, what games would you run for them? Assume that they are sort of familiar with 5E.

Starting to plan a new show for next year, and I have a question for #TTRPG designers - what's something that you love to see from someone who runs an AP of your game/what are some things that AP runners do that you feel support you as a game designer?

Ok, did a post sort of in response to this... A retrospective on the games I've played this year. Less of a series of awards, and more some general rambling thoughts, but here they are!

One week, £195 to go before funding. That's 10 people who want a physical book, 17 who want the pdf, or one generous person with £500 to spare.

I feel like this is the situation with all creative industries now.

I threw Pigsmoke up on Kickstarter in 2017 with no fanfare and no marketing and made £8k.

Now there are so many projects I don't know how to fund anything.

(I *thought* I did, but I was wrong.)
Following up on a thought from @punchystream.bsky.social's talking about how the PS1 still has so many hidden gems that people are only now discovering:

There were ~4,070 games on PS1 released over a decade. There's 18,000+ being released EVERY YEAR on PC now.

Almost EVERY game is a hidden gem now

Daily reminder of my ongoing Kickstarter.
The crowdfunding period is only 15 days in total because the majority of the pledges came either in the first or last week in my past Kickstarter campaigns.
