Postmambo is in Marrakech, listening to Sakhi Abdelghani, oud, and Youssef Tamsamani, darbouka, playing Abdelhalim Hafiz’s song “Qariat Al Fingan (reader of cups),” as in reading fortunes from cups. At the Paella House restaurant, where it is early and the crowd hasn’t arrived.
