comparing a tool that is created by multi-billion dollar companies to actively steal art from artists without their consent and use that stolen art to then replace said artists, with a library, which couldn't be more different from AI tools, is disingenuous

That's the point, this way they get to define what or who it is for example any political opponent they dislike

I just morally oppose the use of AI because it relies on stolen data and uses an insane amount of energy making the already pretty bad climate crisis even worse, just hire a graphics designer

If you want to go unreal 5 and learn C++ and/or Blueprints i would recommend @druidmechanics.bsky.social 's courses, idk if they are on coursera but they are on udemy, he explains stuff very well imo

Exactly which is why i think the wages should have increased instead of having been stagnant for decades and layoffs in the games industry shouldn't happen right after massive profits were achieved and devs should get more of the surplus value they create...oh wait
