Wednesday: pecan pies (one is overdone 😩). My mixing bowl is in the freezer getting ready to whip the cream! Will make second pie crust later.

It looks light to me but I read online that this is a common comment. We did a taste test and decided it was ok!

So far , I’ve tried Claire Saffitz’ French . And a fave is an American/ganache combo by Stella Parks .
