They really should! His catalog is so wide and varied and only reading the most prominent work paints an incomplete picture.
I also think it's interesting how it seems very likely that he may have been autistic, but scholars of comics don't seem to have considered that possibility yet.

I got really inspired recently learning about Osama Tezuka, God of Manga. He re-did stories all the time, and at the end of his life he was STILL referring to ideas in a middle school composition book of his!

Anthology is great for building the ability to critique media on a deeper level and understand a medium more fully, not to mention exploring, refining, and learning to express one's tastes.
