Good! Called it a day before it was done. My skin is just too sensitive for the rest of the color right now so I’ll come back in 3 weeks for the rest of it. I loooove it!

I bought small handmade salt and pepper shakers years ago amd even though they are cute, I was constantly refilling them.
So I bought some bigger ones on eBay for like $6 and they hold so much more! Yay!

Pupdate! Gus has been at home a week. He’s still medicated and pretty chill, but he’s slowly coming back to his happy, snuggly self. He still yelps a bit if he turns the wrong way, but overall he’s healing up pretty well. I’m so so thankful he’s still here with us. 🥹

Visited Gus today at the Canadian ER vet. The vet still wants to monitor him so we spent about 30 minutes snuggling him and giving him treats. So hard to leave him 😭 but hopefully he’ll be home in a day or two.

Vet said everything is still looking like it should. He’s very out of it from the meds and doesn’t want to eat, but they expect that. Hoping we can bring him home on Sunday. I miss my snuggle bug so much!!

In celebration of Gus not having cancer, here are some sleeping puppy pictures!!
This dog has been weird from the beginning and I love him so freaking much. Hopefully we get many more years with him.

Update: Gus has a lung torsion (!) which needs surgery. But pathology hasn’t confirmed cancer or not. If he has cancer, we won’t do the lung surgery because the type of cancer he would have is most likely fast moving and not treatable. If no cancer, he prob has lung surgery tomorrow. I’m numb.

Well the news keeps getting worse. The emergency vet said she pulled a liter of bloody fluid from his chest and cancer is looking more likely. We’ll know more when the samples are tested.
Gus is only three. I am a fucking wreck.

If you could spare a quick prayer or thought for Gus, I’d appreciate it. He’s been lethargic and has been breathing audibly. The vet thinks it might be pneumonia or possibly something else. They are keeping him for x-rays and other tests. My sweet boy doesn’t feel good and I’m sad. 🥺🥺
