If I got a dollar for every time a player got called for pushing a player into a member of their own team in these playoffs
then I would actually have nothing because I would have spent my $2 on a large peanut M&Ms. And I would have already eaten the M&Ms.

Loved this editorial. It really made me think about how the players should (weirdly enough) have a relatively good negotiating position here, as what they have to lose is so minuscule compared to what they should be making.

I'm not even trying to defend the W refs, but the insistence of some people (coaches, even!) that you can conclusively tell that one team had an unfair whistle by comparing free throw totals in a game is one of the most willfully stupid things in basketball

I've never been an AT for MVP die hard, but she looked like the canniest basketball player in the world this game. Just incredible ways to wiggling into space or pulling shots out of nothing.
AT used to really struggle when guarded by Stewie. She's gotten a lot better at making space for herself before taking the shot.
