Sergeant Gonell @sergeantaqgo.bsky.social sent me this picture. This is his call log. Each call is an automated Dept of "Justice" notification saying "The defendant you testified against is being released from the dept of corrections."
Each defendant assaulted him.

At the time, everyone, including Republicans, understood how bad it was. Then, brick by brick, they built a foundation of lies to justify doing what they know, deep down, to be wrong. Trump betrayed the country. And so do they.

I don't even have anything insightful to say today.

I still can't believe he won after his actions 4 years ago today.

Four years later, the shock of January 6 is replaced by the shock of how that day's events have become accepted. To our shame.
