Honestly, this is one of the best advice threads I've seen.

And it also confirms a lot of my instincts have been correct.

What it's actually like:

"Hey dude, you're blocking the way to the bathroom and I need to pee. You don't have to stop what you're doing, but I do need to step over you so I can get to the bathroom.

You're gonna move for me? Aw thanks, bud. That's very kind of you."

long before the current discourse went mainstream (circa 2020-2022) there was a whole other controversy about how they introduced the ability for people who make games and accessories to earn money for their work.

basically their a billion dollar company because they exploit child labor

This is really just furthering my point that the "adults who play roblox are predators" stance i keep seeing splashed all over the internet is missing the point *entirely*

roblox is a company that made a game to prey on kids for their own profit.

And even if you happened to not be the father of your child, the ability to love and care for a child you have no biological relationship to clearly makes you a much more loving and caring person than their lot.

Also I realize I'm in the minority here, but my reaction is "Who cares?"

Kids deserve to be raised by people who love them. Full Stop.

I'm not biologically related to either of my parents. They still raised me, their still my parents and they still love me.

What a poor reflection on them. You shouldn't have to deal with that while you're raising your kid.
