In addition to reading 6 books I'm familiar with the gist of a lot of other books because of YouTube videos I've watched in order to find the next book I want to read. So like I could fib and act as if I've read Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment even though I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think a lot of times people start reading and they just haven't had enough time to read enough to be well read so they feel the need to compensate. I've felt myself tempted to exaggerate because I've only been reading for about a year and have read 6 books, so I'm not well read yet.

Yeah, although the sentence from the article is grammatically correct, it is a no no in writing to use two different forms of the same word like that because it sounds clunky

People like this assume that a woman is only capable of earning enough money to pay for childcare and therefore the increased income is a wash with the added expense. In reality that second income can pay for a LOT more than that, even with childcare being so expensive

I think some theaters that are struggling financially skimp out on the AC/heating a little to save on energy costs so depending on where you live they can be either too warm or too hot
