Oh, and the electric breath comes with "malicious code" that causes glitching if players fail fortitude saves.

I suggested on the forums, and I'll say it here: Cybernetic Dragons with Electric breath who either horde data giving them knowledge of weaknesses or abilities of the party, or cybernetic augmentations that let them change out abilities and attacks mid-combat

If you would consider an Actual Play, then Misfits and Magic seasons of Dimension 20 are explicitly riffs on HP.

Dropout does have a cooking show though, Gastronauts

"not their skin color, race, or ethnicity" didn't they just ram a case through the supreme court to uphold racial profiling?

While I would definitely be in favor of invalidating any of his pardons,if there isn't already an official non-unilateral method, we need to make one. we need a severe accountability overhaul. Trump's regime has just been the crystallization of a lot of problems that have been festering for a while.

Also, stop whining about being called Gestapo when you act like the Gestapo, and clearly think you are entitled to act like the Gestapo

if they ask for lunch recommendations, direct them do the nice drive through "slushie" stands. Mask up even better and more flamboyantly than they do. I am a distant son, but I know the heart of New Orleans hates this if only because they called it a "Swamp" instead of a "Bayou"
December 3, 2025 at 6:53 PM
I call on you New Orleans. I call on you to disrupt this wickedness in ways only you can. Turn your Cajun up to 11 in any conversation with them, as much French as possible. Call on the saints and the Loa to drive these demon Ice out. Give them directions to the locations deep in the bayou...

was this inspired by the Nelson from Lancer? It looks amazing, but it just reminds me of that.

Is anyone ever going to ask him why he is so frequently uninformed of major events in the world?

This knowledge comes from How To Fight Presidents by @danielobrien.bsky.social

Just know if you are fighting Grant's Ghost, he gets a -2 circumstance penalty to mental effects and will saves if you body shame him. also consuming alcohol gives him Temp HP that regenerates each turn, and a status bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls.

that is the first time I've heard it described as "charming". The show is amazing, and very good, but also VERY wild in what it is willing to talk about and how rapidly it can mood swing.

I find it hilarious that the alt text just describes them as "three men in suits" rather than identifying them.

and a bit of a weird perspective on celestials in Christian mythology: Not only are the natively celestial beings eldritch beings that would likely fry your mind from beholding them. but mortals can become Celestials in times of need (Prophets and Saints)
December 1, 2025 at 8:26 PM
China has a huge heavenly bureaucracy. In Japan it's a very fine line between celestial and fey. and the difference is almost simply power scale.

the Einherjar, the fallen warriors also tasked as the warriors of the gods. They also have factions: the Aesir are the ones everyone thinks about, but there are also the Vanir, who have their own warrior's afterlife. and there are Jotun celestials.

The Norse are certainly interesting. Their celestials being the Valkyries, the choosers of the slain, warrior women who can fly. you also have the many creatures, including the infinitely resurrecting goats that pull thor's chariots, the cats who pull Freya's.

entertaining and enrapturing, you didn't notice time passing around you. The show was closer to this, but I didn't like either version. They made some significant changes, removing a domestic abuse subplot (Gabe was originally physically abusive to Percy and Sally)
December 1, 2025 at 1:37 PM
It's much better overall, and closer to the books, both of those facts will derive from the author being heavily involved.

Someone else mentioned the casino scene, i don't think the movie did a good job, nor did I like the show's job. the idea of the casino/hotel is that it was just so...

I’ve had this explained to me before, and it made me stop defending the “gender neutral dude” and try to use properly gendered language with a trans person whenever possible
