Credit the Packers. They played a great game.

Keep in mind, the dominion voting machines are now owned by a far right wing MAGA.

You’re correct. Direct action is going to have to be a big part of change in this country. That doesn’t mean it has to be violent. It just means people are going to have to be a lot more active and a lot more willing to take action than they are right now. I see no other way either.

Considering at this point, the Supreme Court are partisan hacks legislating from the bench. It won’t surprise me at all if they determine the 14th amendment doesn’t apply to what Trump is doing.
December 6, 2025 at 6:31 PM
This also proves how Bernie Sanders 50 state plan is so important. Democrats need to get out into every district. There is and talk to every day people. They’re not gonna turn every mega into a democratic voter but they could turn some people who realize they’re being completely screwed right now.
December 6, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Precisely. They are just partisan hacks who legislate from the bench, akin to a star chamber. It won’t surprise me at all if they rule the 14th amendment doesn’t apply to Trump‘s whims on this issue.

Supreme Court has become partisan hacks who legislate from the bench. It won’t surprise me if they side with Trump and the white supremacists and rule the 14th amendment doesn’t apply to Trump’s whim.

I think what it’s going to take is a few Constitutional amendments., either that or just an entire rewriting of the Constitution, to clean this entire mess up, and that’s not likely to happen for some time

We’re on our way to becoming like East Germany. An oppressive dictatorship that isolates itself into total stagnation ruled by corrupt plutocrats.

Texas is already heavily Gerrymandered though. About 45% of the population register Republican, 35% Dem (the rest are ind.). But Texas sends double the amount of Republicans to Congress than Democrats already. 25 to 12.
December 6, 2025 at 8:31 AM
The one mistake California is making is they need to make a total mockery of Gerrymandering, and jam every single registered Republican into one ridiculously sinuous district across the entire state. Send 51 Dems to Congress, and 1 Republican.

I’m a white middle aged American male. At this point I’m ready for ICE to send me to Scandinavia where my ancestors came from 150 years ago.

China is now building EV’s with fast swappable batteries, and battery changing stations. This means you drive your EV up, and they swap out the battery for a fully charged one in 5 minutes. What happens when a Tesla battery is shot? A $15,000 bill: www.bbc.com/future/artic...
A new fully charged EV battery in five minutes: Are China's swap stations the future of electric cars?
China has been trialling battery swaps for electric cars for years. Are they a viable solution to range anxiety?

BYD is also making in-roads in Europe (Australia, South Asia). Their batteries are better (many now fast swappable!) and the cost of the vehicle significantly less than a Tesla. BYD is effectively banned in the US, or tariffed out of the market (up to 200%).

The US is becoming like East Germany.

Except Marx was actually a German economic philosopher, not a Russian politician or revolutionary. In fact, his and Engels communist manifesto was primarily aimed at the English aristocracy and its expansion and poor treatment of workers and serfs. Stalin barely followed Marx teaching at all.

Well, all the times in history they tried to do that, the more they walled themselves off, the more violent the backlash from the hoards was. Until finally to their own shock, their own guards finally turned on them.

Busier being unemployed and scrounging for food maybe.

This country badly needs a UBI before the entire bottom falls out underneath the bottom 60% of us.

Look up how many attempts there were on Hitler’s life as he became increasingly deranged. Then look up who was mostly trying to assassinate him (hint: his own men).

Compared to the .1%, the bottom 90% of us are poor.
November 30, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Precisely. It’s like celebrating tax cuts. The 1% will get a massive windfall, you’ll get $5. But the deficit increase, social programs (which help the bottom 90%) are cut, and poor people are hurt the most.
