Also this one is so small. I couldn’t find the root cutting it came from its just here for some reason. Idk if it will survive and I’m very confused about how it even began to exist.

I potted up my comfrey. They seem extra happy now, I was expecting them to wilt a bit, but they are just delighted. I think the other potting mix didn’t have enough aeration and drainage.

I saw a black velvet alocasia at the plant store and I want one so bad, but I know I would kill it and it’s just too beautiful, I’d feel guilty forever if I killed one. Also the pot is way too big, and I don’t want to have to repot it in the fall.

My calathea silver plate has so many rolled up leaves and I want them to unroll. How long does it take them to unroll their leaves?

I finally have lithops again. Not sure what species, but they are extremely cute. I love how the gray one is almost pulling off the rock disguise. Now I just need to ignore them until spring.

A third comfrey root is growing leaves. It’s only been a week. I’m definitely going to have to give some of these away.

Elon Musk tortured real live apes to death. Elon Musk doesn’t even believe in human rights. Elon Musk and anyone else concerned that “maybe the computer has feelings” can go fuck themselves, or maybe consider the rights of actual living beings instead of algorithms—a thing that takes actual effort.

Good thoughts for Jude he has his mass removal surgery in the morning. He’s an old man, but he’s healthy (aside from the mass) and has been under anesthesia before with no complications so we shouldn’t be worried, but we’re always worried. #ratsky #ratsofbluesky #petrats

There’s a nest of bumblebees around here somewhere, I see them out gathering nectar on our bee balm and sometimes they have a queen with them (she’s twice as big as the workers) still haven’t been able to get a good photo of the queen, but I got a few worker pics that are very cute.
