Aisy - Dijon is just a bit busier.

Physically and commercially, Paris GdL/B - Dijon V can sustain:

1.5 tph in HSR traffic (*)

Rather, PSE stock was replaced with newly-delivered Euroduplex 3UA sets 🇫🇷🇱🇺🇨🇭🇩🇪 .

In 2016, frequency was eroded by 15% (and overall seat offer by 25%, by removing relief sets from Paris GdL - Dijon V).

Then Covid + shortages in TGV sets led to further erosion by ~10%.

Overall 1/3 off since 2012.

I gathered that some tunnels had been bored in Leeds at some stage.

And yes, quite a few urban areas in 🇬🇧 lack a genuine 🚇, S-Bahn style.
In a few others, something more compact like VAL would be more adequate.

I believe there are different parallel models in the aviation sector.

🚗 makers have to consolidate their subsidiaries in their group accounts as soon as they have effective control on these.
Which is the case of purchaser funding entities, and accounts for most of Renault profits in 🇫🇷

Any sound public finance legislation should include claw-back of unduly extorted amounts, on constructive trusts (as applicable to bribes).
