Hi, my Etsy shop is mostly cross stitch patterns, but I’ve also just started selling these buttons, which I make with black out poetry from old books. There are the poetry ones and there are also pronoun badge ones in the black out style. There are two sizes of each.

Good morning to our first snow of the year ❄️

While I was peeking out at it, a fox stopped by! Haven’t seen one of those in years.
A strangely angled and not very clear picture of a yard covered in snow. You can make out some bushes, a lamp post, a bird feeder, a bit of lawn, and an evergreen tree.

Really pleased with how this is turning out. It’s an idea I had a long time ago but struggled to get right, then suddenly a few days ago I went back to it and got it to work. Tomorrow I’ll solidify all the color choices.

Okay, here’s what I picked out. I had so many that she just charged me $2 for each one. 🥳 I got everything remotely related to Voyager, some old stuff that looked cool, and a few that just sounded like good stories. There was a lottt more.

Got myself a treat afterwards. Gelato from a favorite place I haven’t been to in a long time…chipotle chocolate and almond orange vanilla.

Reality is making a country with sanctuary districts seem like paradise.

Y’all, I have a weird new hobby. It’s hole punching colorful things and collecting the punched out bits in a jar. 😅 It’s like confetti. It’s like lots of tiny little pieces of art. It’s like a memory album of old shopping lists and junk mail. I hurts my hand, but it’s addictive.

Had to go to the dentist today, but for something quick and they’re like an hour drive away, so to make it worthwhile I brought my mom and we went antiquing afterwards. 🥳 Here’s some fun stuff I saw and also what came home with me (a set of pink enamel bowls and some doll house furniture).

Finally got the spaceship at the top all stitched up and the text in the second block put in. 😅 Now I need to reassess what the pattern calls for in the other two blocks so I can make it work better with my fish tank addition. ☺️

My new favorite stuffed animal is their relative.

Tadaaa. It turned out really well. 😂 Such a silly shirt, but it’s for “60s Night” so it’s got groovy vibes. I need to find some kind of sparkly tank top or something to wear underneath it. The buttons are subtle, but great.

Ah, the beginning of Riker’s pizza chef arc.

I literally made some buttons for a shirt with Shrinky Dinks earlier today. I’m bringing them back. They’re surprisingly versatile for all kinds of crafts.
