the new ZZZ patch is missing like 35% of it's dialogue in every language but CN and it's pretty clear they did some heavy cutting/script modifications super late cause this feels very disjointed and rushed. huge bummer especially when the voice acting is usually terrific.

One time when I was doing pizza delivery my boss got into a fight with someone over the phone and then made me deliver anyway; I showed up to two cars full of guys in a real bad part of town and the only reason I didn’t get beaten or shot was they clarified I was *not* the guy from the phone

Sometimes I think I read far too much into peoples’ statements and intentions because everyone balks at it but then I remember I am always vindicated when said person turns out to be exactly the sort of stupid shithead I called from the jump

It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

So I still have not been able to get my work injury treated and I got it clarified today why no orthopedic groups around here take Department of Labor workers comp and it was exactly as I guessed: they don’t pay good rates but demand far more work to get claims settled so everyone said “no more” lol

So I can’t work my normal job since I can’t find a doctor to accept workers comp to check if I can come back to work, and that also means I can’t get my workers comp case approved. So I am sitting in the basement of my office for 8 hours shredding paper and I am extremely depressed.
