To recap:
No armed conflict exists; LOAC does not apply.

Even if LOAC applied, the alleged order to “kill everybody” and the killing of incapacitated survivors constitutes a no-quarter war crime.

Absent armed conflict, the strikes constitute unlawful killings amounting to murder under U.S. law.

The individuals posed no imminent threat to U.S. forces or the United States. Intelligence analysts merely became confident they were ferrying drugs.

That is not a predicate for lethal force. Nor does the theory that survivors “could theoretically call other traffickers” support necessity.

Even in armed conflict, LOAC forbids no-quarter orders, i.e., directives to kill all persons irrespective of surrender or incapacitation. This is a per se war crime.

Persons hors de combat, including survivors in the water incapable of resistance, are protected and may not be targeted.

My government saying things that contradict those values and beliefs I consider core to my love for, and belonging to, this country - contradicting those morals and precepts which are core to my faith.
