Mage: The Ascension
1) Too complicated
2) Broken rules
3) Increasing Arete requires roleplay
In regard to points 1 and 2, I would argue it is a complex, but not complicated, system.
And roleplaying character development is never a bad thing...

1) Confused it with World of Darkness
2) "Too woke"
3) Experience gain is driven by story objectives and character actions rather than murdering things and taking their stuff.
