Y'all should listen to ~ CAŁ● ~ if you like really great avant garde black metal. They have another project called Ùna that is also definitely worth checking out.

There are two albums I'm looking forward to this weekend. I'm definitely missing some. No one ever responds to this prompt but I'll ask anyway: What are you looking forward to?

Watching reruns of this show as a kid I liked that Alan Thicke's character, a psychiatrist, worked from home and had an incredible office with built in shelves. Now I'm a therapist who works from home. Need better shelving tbh.

The person working the merch table told me that the album art is based on a photo Alex Haddad took of a park he played in as a kid. He and his friends liked to imagine what was in the tunnel/pipe.

"...two-person blackened metal band from Bristol, UK blending dissonant, melodic black metal styles with crust punk, death and doom influences into a sound which is feral and sorrowful, chaotic and crafted in equal measures."

Ok, I'll bite.

Did you know heavy music continued to come out in October? Some of it was really good - excellent even!

My kids (10, 7) put on a play where this character got eviscerated by a skull demon. It's not me despite looking like me and having a name that is just one letter away from mine. The description of the viscera was pretty brutal.

Started with Veilburner and now listening to Tzevaot. It's the law that you have to listen to them together because of the art by Luciana Nedelea. I'm a rule follower (except when I'm not).

This is the first post in what will eventually be a thread of mushrooms I saw on Saturday. Stay tuned. Good morning or whatever time it is when you see this/these.

First up, a species in the genus Chlorociboria. I don't think I've ever gotten such good pics of these.
