Hopefully, the more they go over the top, the easier they will be to stop. As long as we don't follow back, i don't see what they gain from it. Seems like a stupid strategy to swarm like this, making it obvious it's only spam bots.

To put the latest surge of spambots into perspective, a month ago @conspirator0.bsky.social detected an average of ~90 porn accounts with duplicate bios per day. Running the same detection code today reveals roughly 6,500 duplicates created in the past 24 hours, representing a ~70 fold increase.

Monitoring the Bluesky firehose for duplicate biographies over the course of 5 days yielded 2234 fake accounts of various types, including porn, crypto spam, and account selling operations. Over half of the spam accounts detected belong to a single network.

CONSISTENCIES🚩Generally these accounts will be set up exactly the same by whoever is making them, you will find multiple models with the same generic layout, the same generic captions, just the onlyfans link and nothing else, a linktree even though there is just an onlyfans in it etc.
